the WhiteSmoke
WhiteSmoke Studio was recommended to us by our cousin who is a wedding photographer himself. He asked us if we wanted good wedding photographers or the best ones. We chose the latter. After we saw Dorota and Michal’s work on the internet, we knew we HAD to have them. We exchanged a few emails and were ready for the first meeting. They turned out to be a couple of young, energetic and extremely likeable photographers. We got captivated by their high spirits and the ease with which they talked to us. And even though our wedding day was a year away, we couldn’t wait to see them again and work with them.
where the magic happens
WHAT I FOUND THE MOST IMPORTANT WAS THE FACT THAT WE WERE FREE TO BE OURSELVES AND WE NEVER FELT UNCOMFORTABLE OR SILLY IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA. AND ALL THE COMMENTS AND ADVICE WE GOT FROM DOROTA AND MICHAL ONLY MADE US FEEL MORE SELF-CONFIDENT.
Everything was just perfect. We walked up to our table to the rhythm of our guests’ applause, our eyes welled up and faces beaming with happiness. Straight after the first toast, Dorota and Michal asked us to stand in the middle of the courtyard. They made a comment about the fantastic lighting and said we looked like stars at the Golden Globes. The picture was taken between one pose and another, a ‘short break’ in between. By the look on my face, I can only guess that either Jibril or the Smokes had just cracked another joke. This is what is so captivating – one single photograph does not only perfectly reflect the beauty of the decorations, the attire, or the lighting, but it also shows a whole spectrum of emotions like joy, love, us feeling totally moved, and the fun we are having. Every time I look at our wedding pictures, my heart beats faster as if I was travelling back in time.

The Prep
The goal here is not only to exchange information, but also to create that intangible connection that happens between people when they spend time together. The more we get to know you, the more you will allow us to capture your essence during your wedding ceremonies.
The Event
Although we do have a plan for the final look of your wedding journal, the way we work may seem rather haphazard to the client. We think a better description might be to think of it as jazz. We move and shoot and shoot and move. We are two professional minds acting with confidence and curiosity. There is space for improvisation.
We sometimes need to create a divergence so that you are unaware of the creative process that is happening all around you. Truth be told, we want you to mostly forget that we are here. We are patient. We wait. We act. There are no insignificant movements or objects in the sightline. Children. Hands. Pets. We get close. We use everything we see. This eye for detail elevates our work in wedding photography well above the standard.

DESTINATION WEDDINGS
The ideal collaboration puts us in your world of destination wedding events for three days: the day before, the day of and the day after the wedding ceremony. Our experience proves that this use of time results in a complete photo documentary of your wedding. This three-day journey allows us to gather all the material we need to create a story that can be retold and shared for generations to come.
