Family Event in Venice
FAMILY EVENT IN VENICE
We met Stefanie and Michael at Julia and Manuel's wedding in Italy. It was a fabulous wedding reception in Verona. One of those unforgettable days with the ceremony in an historic church, the cocktails by the pool and a garden dinner. And all of this in Dolce&Gabbana style. Everything was simply amazing in those surroundings and taking photos seemed effortless. So we were even more chuffed when we got a phone call from Stefanie a few weeks later. The message was short and sweet - a surprise party for her husband's 50th birthday. In Venice. There's this one-off vibe about Venice in the winter time. Hardly any tourists, not much happening at the local markets, and most importantly, perfect conditions for photographs. You can just roam the streets of Venice for hours and soak in its atmosphere. When we got there it turned out that the schedule was rather tight so we had no spare time on our hands. Buy it was brilliant anyway. There was a dinner with friends at the Gritti Palace on Friday and a black tie party and bellini at Harry's Bar the following day. In other words, it was simply amazing. The party was quite challenging to photograph though as it was all about eating and chatting. Typical Italian. Below you will find a brief coverage of the event. Enjoy.

France Wedding Grasse
NJ
Many congratulations to Nicola and Joe who have recently tied the knot in beautiful Grasse on the French Riviera. It is a town situated in Provence, the world’s capital of perfume. It was a privilege to participate in such a beautiful and emotional ceremony, in a most picturesque setting. We had a whale of a time in France and would love to go back there again.
“Many of my family members are photographers, including my brother. But they want to enjoy the wedding reception instead of working too hard.“
That’s what Nicola said to us in her first email. Yes, we absolutely love photographing unplugged weddings! And working with people who share the same view is a pure pleasure. Truly being present in the moment instead of looking at your mobile screen and trying to take a picture is simply priceless.

Nicola and Joe’s Côte d’Azur wedding took place in a family-owned mansion La Rivolte in some breathtaking scenery, typical of Provence. The couple had prepared everything for the ceremony themselves. Even their kids were involved. The groom was waiting for the bride with their older sons and while she walked down the aisle with their youngest boy. Their friends and family were involved, too, which made it even more special. Afterwards, everybody was driven to Chateau de La Napoule to enjoy the reception and listen to the speeches. And then all the guests hit the dance floor where they really cut a rug. What an amazing party it was!

Beata and Paolo at Loretto Chapel, Wedding Photography Italy
BEATA PAOLO, LORETTO ITALY
There were a few things that contributed to the awesomeness of that day. Beata and Paolo chose us as their wedding photographers after they'd seen one of our favourite reportage materials from Gosia and Ivan's wedding in Cracow.
Beata and Paolo's Loreto wedding felt great straight from the beginning. We loved the familiar atmosphere. And, what made it even better was the soothing warmth of both the Italian sun and the locals. Not to mention the food. We could move to Italy for this sole reason. And I know we're not the only ones.
What we were really chuffed about was the fact that Beata and Paolo managed to carve out half an hour for a chilled shoot down the streets of Numana. Until the very last moment we weren't able to tell what kind of weather we'd be working in on the wedding day as there was literally a cloudburst the day before. In the end, we couldn't have wished for better conditions.
Beata and Paolo, thanks for putting your trust in us. All the best again. And see you!
“We so much love the results of their work. Just look at the pictures – they speak for themselves! They tell our wedding story. They show beautiful landscapes, places and local people. They show our friends, their laugh and the joy. They show our family members, their emotions, a bit of stress, lot of joy and curiosity. And finally, they show us, deeply in love, happily going into the future together. I am sure you will see our authentic happiness on the photos, we see it there!” B&P
